What a weekend we have had!

Little Miss Daina (who is just on 8 months now!)started crawling on Friday! Yay!! It’s so cute watching her move! And it’s definitely her preferred mode of transport already. And on top of that she’s already trying to stand now. She has been doing a position which is kind of like a yoga downward dog. It’s wonderful and mad all at the same time!

So now that she is crawling a bit of room re-organisation was required. Because we are living downstairs during the day – we have a cot downstairs for her. And we use the dining room table as a change table and up until yesterday bath table. And this table was in front of a set up bookshelves. Now that Daina is crawling, she is going for the books – which is kind of okay – but I can’t get her out without moving the table. And I really don’t want to have to do that  100 times a day. So we moved the bookshelves and now our loungeroom looks like this:

Hubby took a video over the weekend – so when we’ve uploaded it to Youtube I’ll add it here!

I also managed to get to do a little bit of craft stuff over the weekend. I’m working on a couple of quilts at the moment – mostly using scraps I have from other projects.  At this stage I’m just cutting pieces. Both quilts will be scrappy 4″ square based quilts. I’m just making it up as I go along – so no idea how it will turn out.

Anyway, my little mischief maker is getting into too much mischief for me to be able to sit her and write… I’ll continue anon…
